Friday Night Pizza Party
Coming from the Midwest, specifically the Chicago metro area, I have been spoiled by the great pizza of the city, particularly Uno’s Chicago Grill in the heart of downtown Chicago. Their deep dish pizzas are awesome and every visit back to Chicago warrants a stop to the pizzeria for their delicious pizza. Although, I miss my Chicago style pizzas, you can make some delicious pizzas right in your own kitchen.
It’s Friday night and my daughter is having a friend sleep over tonight. Her request was to make homemade pizzas for dinner. We used Andrews Pizza Dough recipe which was simple to make and topped the pizzas with mozzarella cheese, garlic, olives, mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes and fresh basil. They turned out beautifully! Next time you have friends over or your children do, try making some of these delicious pizzas. The kids love rolling out the dough and adding their favorite toppings to make their own special pizzas.
