Game Day
Chances are, whether you’re a college or NFL football fan, at some point during the season, you’ll probably have some friends over to watch the game. If so, you’ll need some foods to “nosh” on while you’re glued to the flat screen. Simplicity is the key to successful snacking during the game. You don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen, while everyone else is in the Great Room watching all the action. Here’s a couple of snacks that are easy and tasty and of course, a sweet treat to celebrate your team’s victory. Try them your next game day!
Four Cheese Crostini – Little bits of bread that are covered with a spread of four cheeses, garlic, basil and sun-dried tomatoes that are broiled to perfection in about 2-3 minutes. All can be made ahead of time and just popped into the broiler for a few minutes before serving.

Zesty Blue Cheese Dip – A make ahead dip that’s great with all the typical crudités and any other veggies or crackers that you’d like to accompany it! For a really nice presentation, try putting the dip in a hollowed out red cabbage.

Carrot Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Just the thing to celebrate your team’s victory! A moist and spicy cupcake. Easy to make ahead and a snap to serve.
