Yields: 3 dozen cookies INGREDIENTS ½ lb unsalted butter 2 cups all purpose flour 2 cups chopped pecans 5 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon water ½ teaspoon salt Confectioner’s sugar PREPARATION Preheat oven to 325 degrees F Cream the butter and then add sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together and stir into the butter mixture. Add pecans and mix thoroughly. Using a teaspoon, roll the cookie dough into a ball and then shape into small crescents. Bake cookies on parchment lined baking sheets for approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit on cookie sheets for about 3-5 minutes. Roll warm crescent cookie in confectioner’s sugar, coating thoroughly. Set on wire rack to cool. Post a comment
